The Design Goals Are.....
The goals of any great design are a happy customer with a job finished on time, to specifications, that functions great, looks fabulous and on budget. To achieve these goals, these are the questions I always discuss with my customers before beginning a design process.

Time: Can I complete the design and deliver cabinets within the time my customer wants the job done?

Specifications: Can I accomplish all of the customer's design criteria with my products? Can I accommodate unusual or oversize appliances in my design with my products?

Function of the Room: Can I design and provide products that will meet my customer's unique functional needs, i.e., specific storage needs, specific sizes often involving construction modifications, ADA compliance, etc.

Form of the Room: Can I provide the door styles, finish colors, decorative touches and cabinet modifications that my customer has asked for? Can I provide custom design touches that will make this room look like my customer dreams it will?

Budget: Can I bring this project to a successful close and stay within the budget the customer has told me he/she is working with?

You may want to turn these questions of your designer from your perspective as well!!

Ready.....set.....enjoy!
This kitchen turned out gorgeous in part because the home owners had great taste! They had some very definite ideas about what they wanted and worked with me all the way to see their kitchen design come to life. They were fabulous and fun to work with!
My photography doesn't do it justice, but their final selections of KraftMaid Cabinetry, Grandview Cherry door style with Cabernet Cherry finish, Colonial Cream granite and tumbled travertine back splashes were perfect.
All is complimented with glowing stainless steel appliances and a beautiful, natural hardwood floor.
